Oh, you wanted DETAILS on Colonial Williamsburg?

OK, I was just teasing with that last installment (note to self: yet more meds). Actually, we picked up our tickets and headed off into a wonderland of hysterical adventure...until everything closed down a couple short hours later. But we did manage the walking tour around the town looking at some of the buildings including the mayor's house, the courthouse and Martha Washington's childhood home.

Unfortunately on Christmas Eve (day) we didn't get to do much because SOMEBODY got busted for using the term "Thou" when they should have said "Thee". Needless to say they were detained for the duration of the day. Phatty and I were forced into the uncomfortable yet necessary position of standing around, pointing and laughing at them all day until we got thirsty and adjourned to the local pub ("bar" in Yank-ese). This worked up an appetite so when they were released we returned to our flat for some of Lori's deeelicious cooking. I didn't get any photos of this lovely dinner but here's some photos of Lori preparing Christmas Dinner ("Christmas Lunch" in somebody's speak). Here's Lori slaving over the stove - can't you just see the holiday joy emanating from her?

We even found a Christmas "tree" in the flat.

END OF INSTALLMENT 3
