Midnight Sun Golf

Well, not quite midnight but pretty darn late - 10 pm - and still light enough to play. Here's some shots of the course with some goofers (nope, that's not a typo) enjoying themselves on an untypically gorgeous Alaskan summer day.

The other experience I was fortunate enough to have was a trip to Knik Glacier, just outside Anchorage, in a cessna. My colleague Don took me up for a spin out of Merrill Field.

Oh, and last but not least - here's a nice picture of the bear's teeth marks in my mum's trashcan on her porch. The bear seems to be her nemesis; with her having to chase it off with firecrackers in order to get out to her car...only in Alaska...
